Cookie Policy

This policy explains what cookies CaymanCart uses, why we use them, and how you stay in control.

Last updated: September 7, 2026

In short: we use a small number of cookies to keep you signed in, remember your preferences and understand which listings are useful. We never use cookies to sell your personal information.

1. About This Policy

This Cookie Policy explains how CaymanCart Ltd. ("CaymanCart," "we," "us" or "our"), based in George Town, Grand Cayman, uses cookies and similar technologies when you visit caymancart.com, use our mobile applications, or interact with our emails.

It should be read alongside our Privacy Policy, which describes in full how we handle personal data, and our Terms of Service.

2. What Are Cookies?

Cookies are small text files placed on your computer, tablet or phone when you visit a website. They allow the site to recognise your device, remember information about your visit and improve your experience next time you return.

Cookies set by CaymanCart are called first-party cookies. Cookies set by other companies whose services appear on our pages — for example maps, analytics or payment providers — are called third-party cookies.

3

3. Why We Use Cookies

  • To keep you signed in as you move between pages and manage your listings.
  • To protect accounts against fraud, abuse and unauthorised access.
  • To remember preferences such as your area of the island and saved searches.
  • To keep items in your favourites and enquiry basket.
  • To measure how many people view a listing so vendors receive accurate performance statistics.
  • To understand which parts of CaymanCart are useful and where to improve.
  • To measure the effectiveness of our own advertising and promotions.

4. Types of Cookies We Use

Strictly necessary cookies. These are required for CaymanCart to function. They enable core features such as signing in, security, load balancing and remembering your cookie choices. They cannot be switched off in our systems, and no consent is required for them.

Functional cookies. These remember choices you make — your preferred district, recent searches, saved businesses and display settings — so the site feels personal. If you block them, some features will still work but will forget your preferences.

Analytics / performance cookies. These help us count visits, see which listings and categories are popular and identify pages that load slowly or produce errors. The information is aggregated and used to improve the platform and to give vendors listing statistics.

Advertising cookies. These may be set by us or our advertising partners to measure campaign performance and to show relevant CaymanCart promotions on other websites. We do not permit third parties to use these cookies to build profiles for unrelated advertising on our behalf.

6. Third-Party Cookies

Some pages include content or services provided by other companies, and those companies may set their own cookies. On CaymanCart this can include:

  • Google Analytics — visit and traffic measurement.
  • Google Maps — displaying business locations and directions.
  • Payment providers — secure processing of membership and listing payments.
  • Social platforms — embedded posts, share buttons and advertising measurement.
  • Video and media embeds — vendor videos hosted on third-party players.

We do not control these cookies. Please review the relevant provider's own cookie and privacy notices for details of how they use the information they collect.

7. Similar Technologies

As well as cookies, we may use local storage, session storage, software development kits in our mobile apps, and small transparent images known as pixels or web beacons. Pixels in our emails tell us whether a message was opened and which links were clicked, which helps us send fewer and more relevant emails. These technologies are covered by this policy in the same way as cookies.

8

8. How Long Cookies Last

Session cookies are temporary and are deleted as soon as you close your browser. Persistent cookies remain on your device for a set period — for CaymanCart, typically between three months and twenty-four months — or until you delete them manually.

9

9. Managing & Disabling Cookies

You can accept, refuse or delete cookies at any time. Most browsers let you view stored cookies, block cookies from specific sites, block third-party cookies, or clear all cookies when you close the browser. Look for the settings under "Privacy," "Cookies and site data" or "Site settings" in Chrome, Safari, Firefox, Edge or your mobile browser.

You can also reset your CaymanCart choice at any time by clearing the cc_consent cookie, which will cause the cookie banner to appear again on your next visit.

Please note that blocking strictly necessary cookies will prevent you from signing in, claiming or editing a listing, or completing a payment. Blocking functional or analytics cookies will not stop you browsing CaymanCart, but some conveniences will be lost.

11

11. Cookies & Your Personal Data

Where cookie data can identify you — for example a session linked to your account — it is treated as personal data under the Cayman Islands Data Protection Act (2021 Revision) and, where applicable, the UK/EU GDPR. Our Privacy Policy explains your rights of access, correction, erasure, restriction and objection, and how to exercise them.

We do not sell cookie data, and we do not share it other than with the service providers listed above who process it on our instructions.

12

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Cookie Policy to reflect changes to the technologies we use or to legal requirements. The "last updated" date at the top of this page shows when it was last revised. Material changes will be highlighted on the site.
